We need to book a time to survey your home and to install windows. We will need a 4 hour windows to survey your property and access for 3 days to install windows and make repairs. Pick a time that works for you and we’ll handle the rest.
The Survey
The Appointment
Once your appointment is booked we will arrive within the 4 hour time slot chosen. The appointment will attended by our supply chain partner representative and our Quality and Aftercare Director, Brian Gallen.
What We Will Do During the Appointment
We will survey the works area, and measure the windows to ensure the widows ordered fit correctly, and determine the post install works required.
We will agree access arrangements for the works.
What We Will Need From You
We will need free and unencumbered access to the patio door area, both internally and externally.
Access Arrangements During The Works
We will require unrestricted access to the property for the full duration of the three-day works period. This will be discussed and agreed with you during the survey appointment to determine the most suitable arrangements.
You are not required to remain at home during this time; however, we must be able to access the property as needed. If you choose to be absent, we will ensure that your home is secured at all times when we are not present on site.
The Works
What We Will Do
On day 1 of your works we will remove the existing patio doors and dispose of them.
We will install a new set of patio doors, leaving your home secure overnight
On day 2 we will make good plaster works around the patio door reveals and leave to dry.
On day 3 we will decorate and make good. We cannot repair wall paper, so if this around your patio door we will cut it back neatly.
What We Need From You
All furniture located around the patio door, both internally and externally, must be removed prior to commencement. If you require assistance, please contact Brian Gallen using the details provided in your introduction letter.
A clear and unobstructed access route must be maintained from the front door to the patio door area to allow the safe movement of materials and equipment.
All blinds and curtains associated with the patio door must be removed in advance of the works.
